Patience.

The last week we have had a lot of this.



and even more of these.



and a certain 4 and a half year old has spent a lot of time doing this.




luckily for us all (especially me :) the 'tantys' as we call them are fairly short lived and there's still plenty of this thrown in the mix.



I'm pretty sure that one day this boy is going to use all this 'passion' and do something REALLY great!

yes. as you can see Jazzy still puts EVERYTHING in her mouth and tries to eat it. who needs a puppy when we've got this little girl :)

The last week or so we've had some days where the sun has been out. bright and warm.

I am counting down the days until my favourite season is here and I can officially come out of hiding (or to be more correct - I can stop wearing a thousand layers of clothing :)!

there's nothing quite like a bit of 'one-on-one' time to make a kid smile! (thanks for the great idea prattsama)

We had a great 'date night' with Rylan while the 'little kids' partied with their cousins :)























and lets not forget our little 'friends' that luckily didn't get cooked while we dined!

Traditions.....

One of our favourite holiday traditions.......Tuesday Kinda-Gym and swimming with the Ligits! Good activity. Good company. Good food. Good day! We love the holidays!

Days like this make me wish I had my kids at home everyday!

'photoshop-ing' and kids.......

This is what happens when I let my kids play with my photos in photoshop.........



they get 'crazy' excited about doing 'crazy' faces and occasionally forget to save the pictures as 'copies' and I loose the originals.......easy to fix on the top picture but the one below.......not as easy when she no-longer has any eyebrows.......and her entire face and chin is covered with eyes.



As you can see i attempted to fix it......but then couldn't be bothered.........



I had plans for this picture. big plans :) i guess i could always try and cut and paste her eyebrows back on from another picture........

funny quotes of the week

so we were in the car the other day going to kinda gym and the boys were talking about 'smoking' (they seem to love talking about this and asking questions) anyway here's part of the conversation that had me cracking up......

R: so Zahn, as soon as people have their first smoke they get addicted and then they can't stop and it's so bad for you......

Z: then why do people smoke........

M: sometimes teenagers do it because maybe they think it's cool.

R: smoking is DEFINITELY not cool. BUT WALKING DOWN THE STREET CLICKING YOUR FINGERS AND WEARING SUNGLASSES, NOW THAT'S COOL.

bwahahahaha! How funny is that! This had me laughing for ages!!

Then last night some of chads friends were down from QLD and they were planning on watching the state of origin with the boys (the little boys) who were really excited about it. Zahn runs in the room and says (extremely excited - of course) "is it state of orange time".......everbody cracked up laughing (luckily Zahn laughed too......hehehehe) it was so funny!

I love the funny things these little boys come up with!!!!
