Camp 'outs'.....

Even though I do really like camping, outdoor camping, This may be my current preferred style of camp outs.

It's what we like to call 'mummy camps'. Originally planned for the backyard, but ended up on the lounge room floor. It's not the first time 'mummy camp' has been taken to the house :)

Roasted marshmellows in a milo tin (which we took outside because the house was filling up with smoke. this did however give our little camp out quite an authentic feel :)

chad's hairy hand and arm.....NOT mine :)

snuggling in the tent watching ELF (which I am sad to admit I actually cried in......I know, how do you cry in ELF.....I have no excuse except I am pregnant AND.....well, that's my only excuse :) sleeping on the comfort of a real mattress (which was a tad bit uncomfortable but I stayed there. most of the night.......shhhhhhhh!!!!)

Perhaps my preference of camp style will change when we don't have babies that love their own beds and when I'm not rapidly growing :)

WHO??????

Who in their right mind would choose a white polo shirt for boys aged 4-11 years old for a school uniform. Yes, that's right I said uniform. A white shirt EVERYDAY (not just on Sunday when they put it on as we are walking out the door to church, and then take it off as soon as we get home)......EVERYDAY.......while eating, playing, painting, drawing (with textas) rolling down hills, and possibly hugging trees (i'm just going by the grass stains and crazy bark patterns that appear on Rylans shirts) running through some serious mud piles (again just going by the mud splashes all over the back of his shirts) and well just being a boy in general.(seriously even as an adult Chad dosn't wear white T-shirts)!!

So i have come to the conclusion that although the shirts do look nice (on the first day they are purchased and before they are worn) It must of been someone that dosn't have a son that chose white for a boys uniform!!!!

This is only 1 side of the shirt and doesn't do justice to how filthy it was :)

Arrrgghhhhh - I need some more napisan!!!

flower love

I love that the boys pick me flowers.Often.

I love seeing the excitement on their little faces as they hold them out to me and say "for you mum"!!
