While I don't consider myself a big 'city girl', I really do love our family *trips* to the city.
This time it was for picnicing in Hyde park and vivid.
Despite the rain we had a great time and I'm glad I forced everyone to bring their snow
And as you can see I'm still anti-flash even though it results in blurry shots :) I'd love to go back to vivid with my tripod sans the littles but I don't think it will happen this year.....maybe next year :)
*They're called 'trips' because apparently I pack enough stuff for a few days ;)

I'm going thursday night minus kids with sister in law, you wanna come with? - thinking of catching the train in but I'm not sure if Brent will let me do it on my own - I hate the idea of paying $35 for parking! Ridiculous right? But I do love me a Vivid Sydney! Let me know if you are interested.
I also take 'trips' = but we call them camp outs....no one complains when we're all nice and warm do they??? ;)

I love the jelly fish lights! I hear you on packing for a trip each time you go out. You just never know what you might need, and as a mom it's best to be prepared and bring everything you might then possibly need. Our husbands my be eagle scouts but they don't seem to then appreciate how we personally try and fulfill the motto of always be prepared. :)
