One of the things I love about where we live is that 30 minutes in one direction is the city and 30 minutes in a slighty different direction lands us in beautiful places like this and this.
With locations like these on our doorstep, it's easy to step away from the hustle and bustle of the 'super-markets' and enjoy the leisure of picking farm fresh vegies with friends, and running carefully through furrows, digging up whatever we choose.
Everytime we head out this way, we decide we want to move somewhere more rural and entertain the idea of a self sustainable life. Actually, It's Chad who entertains that idea, and he means the extreme kind where you move to the bush and live completely off the land. I say I'll join him, as long as I can still have a camera (that requires charging = electricity :) and a hot shower (I went to boarding school and am still traumertised from cold 2 minute showers ;)
The perfect way to spend a wintery {sunny} Saturday!!

Nadia, I'll definitely let you know when we head out there again :)
I love the look on your beautiful girl's face. That's how I feel every morning when I let the chickens out of their pen.
Wouldn't I love a sustainable life! But not without my camera either ... :)
Oh I love country living plus modern amenities. I love that face shot of Jazzy and the wheel rut-dirt one. So cool. Also I love Lily's giant fur hood. So cute!
