It would have been so much easier for big brothers to lock themselves away in their room with lego (which is usually what happens :) but today instead, they let little sisters play and made 'girl' characters and got 'big lego' men that wouldn't come apart, and thus safe for a lego eating baby to join in :)

When Lily gave up all civility and no longer wanted to 'play' but wanted to destroy and snatch, again it would have been easy for these boys to walk away and take their game elsewhere. But again I watched as they put their lego down and in a moment of synchronised delight, they wrestled their baby sister on the couch and simultaneously tickled her and made her laugh.
Unprompted moments of 'sibling love' are the magic that fill a mother up and make all those not-so-magical moments become forgotten!
I am so grateful to my boys for loving these little girls the way they do (most of the time ;)!

oh, so sweet
Oh so gorgeous Felicity! Love her little face in the first tickle shot- that is just magic:D
thanks for sharing felicity, what a great moment to have witnessed and captured
I'm so noticing how much little ones make a difference in the lives of boys! I watch my 13 year old have sensitivity he might otherwise not have because he is constantly required to help with the littlest people in our home. Though a girl for Eliza to play with would be great, I'm secretly crossing my fingers for a baby boy to plop into the boy's room to add more responsibility to that big brotherhood love.
Beautiful moments, Felicity. And what's not to love about those teeth! Looks like your teething days are upon you :)
hehe - so cute!
I know Rylan loves his sisters. He has mentioned there are piano songs he plays just for them. :D
I love the tickle shot too. Those faces are absolutely priceless!
That is magic when they play together happily. I like your writing and descriptions here! What beautiful kids you have. Give them lots of hugs and kisses from me!
