5 words.....part 1

WE ARE GOING TO JAPAN!!!!!

(ok who am I kiding......this is going to be more than just 5 words.........WE ARE SOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!! WHAAAAWHOOOOO!!!!

I was on the jetstar website the other day about to book some tickets for my niece Maddy when 'suddenly' (just to add drama to my story :) I saw some valentine specials pop up. I felt a little rush of excitement when I saw some of the destinations and the start time for the sale.

4pm Friday afternoon.

I looked at the clock and it was precisely 3:59 pm. Another surge of excitement,considering our internet was powering on and the speed didn't seem to be slowing. Anyway to cut what could be a very long story short......WE BOOKED TICKETS TO JAPAN FOR 10 DAYS IN APRIL/MAY. Completely impulsive and unplanned and we are SO very excited!

This has been one of my dreams forever and now it's only 2 months away. Seriously ticking one of my 'top 10 things to do before I die' off the list!!!!

Now.....in the interest of 'keeping it real' as they say, I realise the above story may depict me calmly sitting at my computer with everything working out perfectly first try around. Let me just say 2 hours later, 1 crying baby, 2 fighting brothers and a CRAZY mother, Chad came home and finally got the tickets to go through. It was like a mad house :) ahhhhh sigh.....peace restored and Chad saves the day :)

Later that night I did have a chuckle as I thought about our crazy afternoon. It was TOTAL caos. All routine, discipline and activities planned for the boys were thrown out the window and the earlier sense of excitement quickly turned to stress and anxiety in my determination (and desperation :) to get those tickets.....ahhhhhhhh but really now that we're all booked and we actually did get the tickets,  it was totally worth the 'almost nervous breakdown' that I had!!!

YAY - WE'RE GOING TO JAPAN!!!!!!!
