HAPPY BIRTHDAY FELICITY

Happy 30th Birthday.

I can’t believe we’re now both in our 30’s. I was going to start a whole new ‘I love Felicity’ blog but it might be the only entry until next years birthday. Obviously I can’t be there in person to make all your birthday wishes come true but since next to family and Twilight blogging is your next most treasured thing I thought I give it a go in your honour.

So here are a couple thoughts I’ve had of late – especially while I've been so far away. (I know they aren’t your favorite pictures but it’s my blog entry and I like them. You can delete them later.)

The two most important qualities you have, that I love, are the excellent mother you are to our children and the fun and happy person you are for me to spend time with.

I remember just before I left and we went to the shops for Jasmin’s birthday. For a while you had Jasmin in your arms and both boys walking next to you. You didn’t know, but I was right down the other end of the isle watching walk towards the check out with the kids. I can’t tell you how much I loved watching you leading the children like that – my little family. (It's not stalking if it's your wife.)

Thanks for having the qualities I always wanted in the mother of my children. I love it when I see you playing with the kids and how much you love and adore them. With so much negativity in the world I’m glad the kids have a mum that wants to eat them (with love).

As I’ve said I don’t only love you for being a great mum – I love the time we spend together (I know it's very limited of late). I love staying up and watching our shows together, sitting in church next to you, going out as a family and our family holidays. It seems like everything I do overseas I’m constantly thinking about how I wish you were here. Every photo I take - I take thinking about your reaction. Each meal I have or sight I see you are always the first person I wish was here to share it with me. My trips seem wasted without you next to me.

I can’t wait to come home and see you again. I can’t wait to have 10 full days of time with you in Japan to fulfill one of your dreams.

Have a great day playing with the kids and I’ll see you soon.

Love

Chad

p.s. I know this is Felicity's bits and pieces so consider me a celebrity guest blogger.
