homeschooling

I think about homeschooling ALL THE TIME. Before my life was graced with kids I always said I would do this. Then I had kids and thought......what was I thinking???? Was I crazy?? :)

But.

My feelings have changed AGAIN. They often do. and MOST days I think about how much I would love to homeschool.

To satiate this desire, Zahn and I have been doing extra home-pre-school activities to get him ready for his big leap into primary education next year. I must admit I do love the satisfying feeling I get when the 'pin drops' so to speak and suddenly he gets 'it'. Or he just remembers something simple like what K looks like. That in itself is quite thrilling :)

And then. Last week on one of those beautiful 'true' spring days (as in.....not too hot) as I sat outside on the small patch of grass we have in our yard and ate my lunch while Jazzy slept, I did have to ask myself.......



If I home-schooled........would I still get to do this every now and then??? and for a moment I felt content with the boys being at school and pre-school while I soaked up the beautiful 'quiet' sun outside!
