While the boys sat together on Friday morning doing puzzles, this was the little conversation I overheard......
Zahn: I can’t believe we went to the drive ins last night.....
Rylan: Yeah they were SO AWESOME (extreme emphasis)
Zahn: How to train a dragon was MAD (zahn’s current favourite word).
The conversation then moved on to puzzle related chit chat.
But they were right. Our little outing was both of those things. (not the words I would use. but the same meanings none the less :)
Sitting there. Snuggled up with my 2 boys (and the ligits in the car next to us) watching the movie and munching on our snacks.
And that's when it hit me. That feeling. One of those moments where I simply looked at my little ones and for no real reason at all I felt overwhelmed with love for them. Watching their faces dance in the light from the movie. Watching them look up at me and smile and laugh.
These are the little moments I hope I remember forever.

Oh wow we do not have any Drive Inn left in Brisbane what a shame I use to love going as a kid. Looks like you had fun.
this looks sooo mAAD- jelous! Where's jazzy though? I love the last picture- i can see the joy in your expression ;)
looking again- this looks seriously AWSOME! i really am jelous we don't have one..
this will be an activity when we come down to sydney!
just googled it- there is still one in yatala (south brisbane)
Neets, we will definitely go when you are you in Sydney....although we didn't take Jazzy with us - I almost did but then wasn't sure how she'd go sitting still in the back of the car for the whole movie, so one of my friends looked after her! It was nice to go with just the boys :)
This brings back memories of when we took all our children to the drive in:)
