So this is our second year of visiting the Temple on Good Friday. The kids are always excited when I announce we're going to the Temple and they love being the one to spot Moroni first as we get close to it (It's all very exciting seeing a giant gold Angel kind of floating in the sky you know :)
This year my sister Emma and her kids came with us and we had a lovely (very excited) picnic dinner together..... (while our hubbies are off exploring Bountiful in the Middle East with Chad's dad) so we're both single mothering and sharing lots of Easter together!!
Here's a few snaps from our afternoon.....(sadly the ones I took of the kids and their cousins are all crazy blurry?? I really need to start using my flash.....
Zahn always appreciating nature and taking a moment from his excitement to appreciate the beauty of it.....
me TRYING (bribing. threatening. begging :) the kids to walk towards me without doing some kind of 'funky' walk as they call it - this was the best we could get......
and here they are a year ago.....don't they look so little and cute......(funny that Rylan still wears the same T-shirt :)
seeing Moroni up close - like I said, all very exciting to a 5 year :)
I love that we live so close to this beautiful place!

Hello from Arizona, Felicity! I am so glad you did the Easter lessons in your home! I loved how you went to the temple for that lesson. Thanks for posting, and no, I don't mind at all that post the link. I am just happy that others love it as much as we do.
This is one of the reasons I'm so glad we're friends, you are always inspiring me to be a better Mum! I love these ideas, you and your kids must have had such a special Easter.
